INTRODUCTION

ADEGLOW is a nutritional supplement that is used for the treatment of several conditions including depression, osteoarthritis and liver diseases like biliary cholangitis, intrahepatic cholestasis, excess cholesterol in bile and biliary and liver diseases caused by cystic fibrosis, and to reduce fibromyalgia symptoms.

COMPOSITION

ADEGLOW tablet contains Ademetionine, a chemical that is found naturally in the body. It is also known by other names like S-Adenosyl-L-methionine, S-adenosyl methionine, S-adenosylmethionine, SAMe, or SAM-e. This chemical is made in the body from methionine, an amino acid found in foods. It regulates key functions in living cells.

INDICATIONS

  • Treatment of Liver disease
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Depression
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Support of bone and joint health

HOW IT WORKS

Ademetionine plays a crucial biochemical role in the body by donating a one-carbon methyl group in a process called transmethylation. It is absorbed from the small intestine following oral intake and around 50% of Ademetionine is metabolized in the liver. Ademetionine affects serotonin in the brain (which communicate between brain cells), regulating mood and treating depression.

Ademetionine stimulates the production of parts of cartilage, reduces the inflammatory mediator, and has painkilling properties. It helps the liver perform its normal functions by protecting it from toxins. It maintains proper level of glutathione in the liver which in turn minimizes liver damage. Ademetionine also helps in preventing increase of lipids associated with cirrhosis outside the liver.
