
INTRODUCTION
ESOGLO-D is a combination of two drugs: Esomeprazole which is a proton pump inhibitor and Domperidone which is a dopamine antagonist. These medicines belong to a group of gastrointestinal agents that are used to relieve indigestion symptoms (heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation), and in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and stomach ulcers.
COMPOSITION
Each ESOGLO-D capsule contains Esomeprazole 40mg and Domperidone 30mg.

HOW IT WORKS
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that acts by reducing stomach acid and helps in relieving acidity and heartburn. Domperidone is a prokinetic that acts on the stomach and intestines to enhance motility and helps food pass quickly and smoothly through the stomach, which also helps in controlling vomiting. Together, these two drugs help in treating acidity-related problems.
SAFETY ADVICE
Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, have any kidney or liver-related disease, or experience severe stomach pain, vomiting, or watery diarrhea. Do not discontinue taking the medicine without consulting your doctor. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience allergies to the medicine.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Esomeprazole + Domperidone drug combination may interact with anti-HIV drugs like Atazanavir, blood thinner like clopidogrel, anti-fungal such as itraconazole and fluconazole, anti-hypertensives drugs such as verapamil.
SIDE EFFECTS
Most of the side effects of ESOGLO-D do not require any medical intervention. However, consult your doctor in case the symptoms of side-effects persist. Some common side effects of ESOGLO-D are:
